The Korea Electronics Technology Institute (KETI) and Chemtronics said on Tuesday that the pair will collaborate in the development of core technologies for vehicle-to-everything (V2X) and wireless charging.
Specifically, the pair will develop technologies that connect V2X with wireless charging.
KETI and Chemtronics will also develop autonomous driving technology based on the new technologies.
They will also develop a new business model for material technology in mobile wireless charging, they said.
KETI said it has material technology for V2X communication, object recognition, autonomous driving, IoT, AI and wireless charging.
This will be paired with Chemtronics’ technologies related to materials, components and chemicals accumulated for the past 40 years in handsets, automobiles, semiconductors and displays.
