A Chinese court says TTT violated firm's IP
Ublox said on Thursday said it won in its patent lawsuit against Techtotop Microelectronics Technology (TTT) in China.
A court in Hangzhou ruled that TTT’s TD1030 navigation chip violated Ublox’s IP, Ublox said.
The court ordered TTT to pay 11 million yuan in damages to Ublox, the company said.
Ublox filed the patent lawsuit in 2019, after finding that TD1030’s module had similar capabilities to its M8 GNSS receivers.
TTT must now halt production and sales of its navigation ship.
