Ram Tech said on Thursday that it is actively working to go through its plan to build a new factory at the city of Dangjin.
The company will communicate with the local government, which recently rejected its factory plan, to take the project back on track.
Ram Tech has succeeded in producing hydrogen fluoride, a material that South Korean previously relied on imports from Japan.
Japan had limited the export of the material to South Korea but South Korean companies has developed their own technology to produce the material that is used in key processes during semiconductor and display production.
Ram Tech has aimed the new hydrogen fluoride factory to be completed by the first half of next year but that plan has been halted by Dangjin city.
Ram Tech said it plans to file administrative lawsuit to put its plan to build the factory back on track.
