AI Korea said it has secured 7 billion won in its pre-IPO funding round from institutional investors.
The company began manufacturing battery production in 2014.
It supplies central electrolyte supply systems to LG Energy Solution’s factory in Poland.
It also supplies kits to SK On and Samsung SDI.
AI Korea said it had over 70 billion won worth of remaining orders as of January.
Battery electrolytes were carried in canisters conventionally but more battery production lines are adopting supply systems for mass production.
AI Korea, founded in 2003, started its business by supplying components for fab equipment. Last year, it recorded 30 billion won in revenue.
