Samsung unveiled its latest flagship smartphone series Galaxy S22 with upped camera features as well as one model housing the S Pen stylus like the Galaxy Note.
Galaxy S22 series comes in three models: Galaxy S22 Ultra, Galaxy S22 Plus and Galaxy S22.
Galaxy S22 Ultra comes with a dedicated port for the S Pen, which the company said is even more closely resembles the feel of handwriting from prior iterations.
Ultra also has a 108MP main camera, QHD+ resolution OLED screen and 1~120Hz variable refresh rate.
The Plus and standard models have 50MP main camera, OLED screens and 10~120Hz variable refresh rate.
The three models come with what Samsung calls Armor Aluminum for upped durability and are covered in Gorilla Glass Victus.
They are all powered by a 4-nanometer (nm) processor, which is likely Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
The company also said the phones’ neural processing units (NPU) boast double the performance of the chips on the Galaxy S21 series.
This helped the cameras on the phones have reduced noise in dark environments.
The phones will go into pre-order on February 14th while sales will begin on the 25th.
Meanwhile, Samsung also unveiled its Galaxy Tab S8 series of tablets, which also comes in standard, Plus and Ultra models.
The Plus and Ultra models pack OLED screens. The Ultra model has a 14.6-inch display and comes in up to 16GB RAM.
