Its 90Hz, 120Hz panels are certified as SGS's Seamless Displays
Samsung Display’s OLED panels have been certified as "Seamless Displays" from verification firm SGS, the company said Thursday.
The South Korean display maker’s 90Hz and 120Hz smartphone OLED panels scored blur lengths of 0.9mm and 0.7mm, respectively, in SGS's review.
The two panels also marked movie picture response time (MPRT) of a maximum of 14ms and under 11ms, respectively, Samsung Display said.
The 90Hz panel’s refresh rate was also 1.2 times better than its predecessors. The 120Hz panel’s was 1.5 times superior, the company said.
Its panels will allow natural looking pictures to be shown in smartphones in the 5G era, Samsung Display added.
