LG Electronics has introduced its new LED and OLED signage at InfoComm 2020 Connected, the company said on Thursday.

The South Korean hardware maker showed off its LG LED Cinema Display, which uses high-brightness LED modules for movie screens at theaters, as well as its transparent OLED touch display, at the online tradeshow which runs from June 16 to June 18.

LG stressed that its LED screen offers a uniform movie screen which is less vulnerable to distortion compared to digital projectors.

The company recent supplied the screen to Taiwanese cinema china Showtime Cinema.

Its transparent OLED touch screen had a transmittance of 38% at is optimized for use in airports, stores and museums. Multiple screens can be attached side-by-side, it added.

LG also said it recently supplies its digital signage for a store run by Top Golf.

Meanwhile, the original InfoComm 200 event, organized by Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association (AVIXA), planned for March earlier this year was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

InfoComm 2020 Connected is an online-only event, with 500 companies taking part.
