KT will allow consumers use its mobile identification card when they are subscribing to its services, the telco said.

Potential subscribers can download the mobile payment authentication app Pass, and download their own mobile driver’s license. 

This will be accepted at KT stores as a legitimate identification card, the telco said.

Meanwhile, those who use the driver’s license on the Pass exceeded one million earlier this month, KT said. The license was launched by KT together with SK Telecom and LG Uplus and South Korea’s police.
