Samsung Electronics has launched a new projector for home cinema called The Premiere, on Wednesday.
The high tier version has triple laser technology where different lasers are used for the colors red, green and blue.
The budget model has a single laser.
The high tier version can project up to a 130 inch screen. The projector has 4K resolution and has a peak brightness of 2800 ANSI lumen. It has a contrast ratio of 200 to 1.
The Premiere is also HDR10+ and Filmmaker Mode certified. It supports 40W surround sound.
It is an ultra-short-throw projector and can be placed in front of walls for projections.
The projector will go on sale in North America first then launched in Germany, France, Italy and South Korea within the year.
Samsung introduced its LifeStyle TVs in 2016 with The Serif. In May, it launched an outdoor TV called TheTerrace.
