3 billion won up to 2024
X-ray inspection company Xavis was chosen by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy to get government making to develop a chip inspection kit.
Xavis will receive 3 billion won in funding up to 2024 to develop its under 25-nanometer high-resolution 3D X-ray nondestructive semiconductor inspection equipment. The company said it is applying AI to the equipment.
Xavis was formed in 2002 and offers software for X-ray, machines vision and factory automation equipment.
According to Zion Market Research, industrial X-ray inspection equipment market is expected to grow 7% on average a year up to 2026 to be worth US$10.8 billion.
