Fab equipment maker APACT said on Thursday that it will be supplying testers to two fabless companies.
The equipment it supplies will be for testing non-memory, automotive semiconductors.
APACT had focused on memory chip testing so far but the latest orders mean it will be able to expand its sales from a new sector.
One of the fabless companies ordered testers for automotive radio receiver chips.
This fabless companies for the past ten years outsourced its testing work but is expanding its outsourced partners.
The other fabless company is ordering testing equipment for automotive microcontroller unit.
APACT said it aims to become an integrated outsourced assembly and testing company through more orders like its latest one for chips besides memory.
