Aiming for 2023 commercialization

Battery cell inspection kit maker Misumsystech has begun developing a battery management system (BMS) for small electric vehicles, TheElec has learned.
The company is aiming to develop an open platform that can be applied in any car model, people familiar with the matter said.
It is aiming to commercialize the system in 2023 and seeking to secure ISO 26262 standard, they added.
Misumsystech, founded in 2006, offers inspection kits for protection circuit modules, battery packs and battery management systems.
It begin supplying battery packs for electric bicycles to KEPCO, South Korea’s national electric utility, in 2018.
It began supplying battery packs and BMS for electric 2-wheelers this year.
