Samsung said on Tuesday that it will optimize Arm’s SoC IPs to its gate-all-around (GAA) chip process node.
Their collaboration will make the GAA process accessible to fabless customers, saving them time and money, the South Korean tech giant said.
Optimization of Cortex-X, Arm’s high-end chip architecture, was the first of other collaborations the companies plan, such as “reinvesting” Samsung’s 2-nanometer process and launching AI chiplet solutions, the South Korean tech giant noted.
Samsung and Arm maximized the power, performance, and area of the chips through their collaboration, the company said.
