LG Display said on Wednesday that its 65-inch rollable OLED TV won the Display of the Year award given by the Society of Information Display (SID).
It is the top award given by SID, the world’s foremost academic society in the display industry. SID is holding its annual conference this year online from May 17 to 21.
LG Display launched the rollable display back in October last year.
It can roll itself inside the body of TVs to hide itself. OLED doesn’t have a backlight, which allows it to achieve this.
LG Display won the top award also back in 2017 for its 65-inch wallpaper OLED TV.
