Samsung on Monday said it has launched the 2021 The Wall display, which uses Micro LED technology.
The latest model, model name IWA, has a micro AI processor with 16 neural networks models used to upscale resolution.
The new display also uses LED devices that are 40% smaller than their predecessor.
This allows for even deeper blacks and better gradation, Samsung said.
The modular display can be made to be over 1,000 inches in size. It supports 8K resolution in 16:9 ratio, 120Hz refresh rate and up to 16K resolution horizontally (15360x2160).
The 2021 The Wall is also has half the thickness of its predecessor. It can be shaped various ways thanks to being modular, from S shape to L shape.
It can also divided the screen to four, each showing different contents. The Wall offers 1,600 peak brightness, 20bit gradation, HDR10+ and other features.
The display also is cableless and is powered using docks, which will allow for easy installation, Samsung said.
